This course for non-native speakers provides students of all disciplines with the skills required to develop their academic writing in English. It is suitable for those who have to complete English assignments in any discipline.

You will learn practical, transferable strategies – such as planning, structuring, vocabulary building,  and choosing the right tense and register –  by actively participating in group and individual tasks in class and in your own time. Course work also integrates self- and peer evaluation in order to achieve structured pieces of writing with a clear message.
