New Bulgarian University invites students from across the ERUA Alliance to take part in NBU Social Entrepreneurship Day — a practical seminar and hands-on workshop focused on social innovation. The seminar will take place on the 29th of January 2026, from 11:20 to 14:30 CET, on location at NBU and online via Zoom link.
Participants will gain first-hand insights from experienced social entrepreneurs on how to build social start-ups and secure project funding in the fields of art and science. The event also includes an interactive workshop where students will work in teams to develop and pitch their own social entrepreneurship ideas. This event is organized as part of the ERUA Social Entrepreneurship LAB initiative.

The Programme
Part One will offer Practice-Based Experience by Yoanna Marinova and Dimitar Uzunov, that will deliver a talk on How to Build a Social Start-up and Project Funding for Social Entrepreneurship Ideas in Art and Science
Part Two will be focused on Hands-on Practice Workshop: Ideas Development Session.
Work in teams to develop social entrepreneurship and concepts, including:
- identifying a social problem,
- proposing a solution,
- defining the target group, and
- outlining the expected social impact.
