On 16 and 17 June, Université Paris 8 hosted the ERUA Student Lab, an event that brought together students from the alliance’s universities to work together, exchange ideas and share experiences.
The programme was organised in collaboration with Coop’en 8, Paris 8’s student entrepreneurship co-operative, an initiative that enables students to launch real-world projects through a co-operative and self-managed working model. Over the two days, participants took part in workshops, practical activities and collaborative working sessions focused on creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.
In addition, the Student Lab included activities relating to project design and communication, cultural mediation, the organisation of a group exhibition and various opportunities for exchange between ERUA and Coop’en 8 students, promoting peer learning and the creation of new connections within the alliance.
Among the participants were SWPS University students Uma Hajdo, Mariia Nef and Dąbrówka Stuglik, winners of the ERUA Pitch Day with their project “MindCross”, who took part in the event in recognition of the work they had presented during this initiative.
One of them summed up her experience as follows:
“The trip to Paris was a reward for winning the ERUA project. We spent two days at the university, taking part in workshops, meetings, and activities with students from different countries. Everything was well organised, and it was a great opportunity to gain new knowledge, exchange experiences, and meet new people. The best part of the trip was definitely sightseeing in Paris. We had the chance to visit many famous landmarks, explore the city’s culture and history, and enjoy its unique atmosphere. This was the most memorable and enjoyable part of the entire experience.”
The ERUA Student Lab is one of the initiatives through which the alliance aims to offer students international experiences that go beyond academic mobility, fostering creativity, entrepreneurship, collaborative learning and the building of a European university community.
