ERUA is pleased to announce the Teacher Training Plan for the first semester of the 2026 – 2027 academic year, aimed at teaching and research staff from the eight partner universities of the ERUA consortium. Full course descriptions, dates, schedules and participation requirements are available in the attached programme.
This training offer forms part of ERUA’s strategic framework within Work Package 2 (WP2): Designing ERUA’s Innovative Learning Pathways. In particular, it contributes to Task 2.6: Establishment of Virtual Educational Materials, which promotes the development and dissemination of online learning resources, innovative teaching practices and cross-border academic collaboration.
The training address areas such as artificial intelligence, project-based and experiential learning, digital teaching, authentic assessment, multilingual education, service-learning, leadership and arts-based pedagogies.

- Adaptive Leadership and Human-Centred Transformation in the AI Era (AEGEAN)
- Learning in Motion (LiM): Multimodal and Arts-Based Innovation in Higher Education (AEGEAN)

- Working with Multilingual Academic Texts in Higher Education: Mediation Strategies for Teaching and Research (ULPGC)
The courses are offered online and are open to eligible full-time and part-time academic staff and PhD candidates from the ERUA2 consortium. Course dates, synchronous sessions, workloads and the number of available places vary. Several courses continue into January or February 2027, so prospective participants should carefully review the complete schedule before applying. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Important: commitment to participation
Registration must be regarded as a firm commitment to attend and complete the course, rather than as a provisional expression of interest.
Places are limited, and each unused place prevents another colleague from participating. Before registering, applicants must therefore carefully check the full course period, the dates and times of all synchronous sessions, and the expected independent workload.
Participants who are no longer able to attend must inform the course organisers as soon as possible, so that their place can be offered to a colleague on the waiting list.
To ensure that available places are used responsibly, the following rules will apply:
- A participant who does not attend the first session of a course will automatically lose their place.
- The participant will be informed by email that they have been removed from the participant list.
- The vacant place will immediately be offered to the next eligible applicant on the waiting list.
- Participants are expected to attend the scheduled sessions and complete the required course activities.
- Failure to attend or complete a course without informing the organisers will result in the participant being ineligible to register for ERUA2 training courses during the following semester.
We strongly encourage applicants to register only when they are confident that they can make the necessary time commitment. Timely communication regarding cancellations is essential to ensure fair access to the programme and to respect the work of the course organisers and teaching staff.
