Invitation to the 13th International Scientific Conference for Young Researchers “Social Transformations in Contemporary Society” (STICS 2025)

Mykolas Romeris University’s Doctoral Candidates’ Association invites you to participate in the 13th international scientific conference for young researchers “Social transformations in contemporary society” (STICS 2025), which will take place on 16-17 October 2025 at the Mykolas Romeris University (Vilnius, Lithuania) and virtually. The conference aims to bring together young researchers to explore and discuss the dynamics of social transformations in contemporary society. Whether you are attending in person or virtually, it is a great chance to network, share ideas, and grow!

Important dates:

  • 29 September 2025. Registration and submission of abstract (please follow the form to fill in) or full paper (full document length – 8 pages) to stics@mruni.eu. Please specify the Subject of the letter with the acronym “STICS 2025“. Research papers accepted for publishing will be published in periodical proceedings (ISSN 2345-0126 (online)) which are included in Directory of Open Access Journals: DOAJ; ROAD, the Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resources.
  • Notification of acceptance – within one week after submission (check your spam/junk folder if no response is received within this time).
  • 16-17 October 2025 – Conference event (the conference will be held in English).

Eligible participants:

Master’s and PhD students; holders of a master’s degree; PhDs who defended their dissertations no later than three years ago.

Fees: the conference is free of charge. However, participants’ travel and accommodation costs are not covered.
