Re:ERUA Digital Conference on Gendered Innovation

The Re:ERUA Digital Conference on Gendered Innovation has been held on 18th to 19th September 2024 by the University of the Aegean.

This conference was open to both ERUA & Re:ERUA member institutions and interested stakeholders, bringing together academia, business & industry, governmental, communities, and social actors to present and discuss experiences and perspectives on gendered innovation perspectives and practices.

The conference is a pilot initiative for gendered and inclusive innovation in the context of the Re:ERUA WP4’s objective to provide women scientists and minorities with new opportunities, improve their skills connected with innovation and the social management of technology aimed at diversity and inclusion.

This two-day digital conference allowed participants to focus on the impact of gender and intersectional analysis on innovation and discovery, discuss gendered innovation across academia, the private sector, governmental bodies, and social actors, showcase specific case studies on how gendered approaches lead to innovation and finally enlarge participant’s network across academics, policy makers, entrepreneurs, and organizations.
