Join the ERUA Book Club “Reading Across Borders” (EURAB) for te upcoming meetings and connect with readers from across the Alliance through literature, culture and shared conversations.
Launched earlier this year as a student-led initiative, Reading Across Borders brings together students, academics and staff members from ERUA universities in a virtual space for reading, discussion and intercultural exchange.
Throughout the year, participants read books selected by different ERUA member universities and meet online to share perspectives, ideas and reflections. Books can be read in English or, when available, in the reader’s preferred language.
After meetings dedicated to books selected by the University of Macerata, New Bulgarian University, European University Viadrina and the University of the Aegean, the journey continues with three more books and three more opportunities to join the conversation:
- November 2026 – As Long As the Lemon Trees Grow by Zoulfa Katouh, selected by Université Paris 8
- December 2026 – 1984 by George Orwell, selected by Mykolas Romeris University
- February 2027 – The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak, selected by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Specific dates and times for the online meetings will be shared with participants.
Whether you have been following the Book Club from the beginning or are discovering it only now, you can still join Reading Across Borders and take part in the upcoming meetings.
Choose your next book, start reading and join the ERUA community across borders!
