ERUA is pleased to announce the opening of enrollment for the Teacher Training Plan for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year. The programme includes online courses addressing areas such as artificial intelligence, project-based and experiential learning, digital teaching, authentic assessment, multilingual education, service-learning, leadership and arts-based pedagogies.

- Digital Didactics Lab: From Content to Creative Learning (VIADRINA)
- Next Level Teaching: Project-Based Learning in an Agile Classroom (VIADRINA)
- Teaching Archaeological Interpretation: From Material Traces to Responsible Claims (AEGEAN)
- Adaptive Leadership and Human-Centred Transformation in the AI Era (AEGEAN)
- Learning in Motion (LiM): Multimodal and Arts-Based Innovation in Higher Education (AEGEAN)
- Experiential Learning and Individual Differences – Applications in Teaching Practice (NBU)
- Working with Multilingual Academic Texts in Higher Education: Mediation Strategies for Teaching and Research (ULPGC)
Full course descriptions, dates, synchronous session times, workloads, participation requirements and the number of available places are provided in the programme document. Several courses continue into January or February 2027. Applicants should therefore review the complete timetable carefully before submitting their registration.
Registration period and application process
Registration will be open from 1 October to 29 October 2026.
To apply, eligible participants must complete and submit the Microsoft Forms registration form available through the following link.
The Microsoft Forms registration form will become available on 1 October 2026 from 12:00 Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece | 11:00 Italy, France, Germany, Poland | 10:00 Canary Islands.
Enrolment will be processed strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the recorded time of submission.
Each participant may register for between one and three courses, with a maximum of three courses per person. Applicants should therefore select only those courses that they are confident they will be able to attend and complete.
The programme is open to eligible full-time and part-time academic staff and PhD candidates from the ERUA2 consortium. As the number of places available to each university is limited, early registration is strongly recommended.
Once the capacity of a course has been reached, additional eligible applicants will be placed on a waiting list. Confirmation emails will be sent after enrolment in the selected course or courses has been finalised.
Registration is a firm commitment
Applicants are reminded that submitting a registration form represents a firm commitment to attend and complete the selected course, rather than a provisional expression of interest.
Places are limited, and an unused place may prevent another colleague from participating. Before registering, applicants must carefully check:
- the full duration of the course;
- the dates and times of all synchronous sessions;
- the expected independent workload; and
- any specific participation or completion requirements.
Applicants should register only when they are confident that they can make the necessary time commitment.
Cancellation and drop-out protocol
Participants who are no longer able to attend or complete a course must inform the organisers as soon as possible by emailing erua@ulpgc.es and indicating the reason for their cancellation.
Early notification is essential, as it allows the available place to be offered to an eligible participant on the waiting list.
To ensure fair access to the programme and the responsible use of available places, the following participation rules will apply:
- Participants are expected to attend the scheduled sessions and complete all required course activities.
- Participants who become unable to attend or complete a course must notify the organisers at erua@ulpgc.es as soon as possible.
- Participants who register for a course and fail to attend or complete it for unjustified reasons, without informing the organisers, will not be eligible to register for any ERUA Teacher Training Plan course offered during the second semester of the 2026–2027 academic year.
This measure aims to ensure that the limited number of available places is used responsibly and fairly. Timely communication regarding cancellations also helps maximise access for colleagues on waiting lists and supports the work of course organisers and teaching staff.For further information about the programme or the application process, please contact the ERUA Coordinator at your home institution.
Certification
Upon successful completion of a course, participants will receive a certificate of participation.
