The ERUA Alliance is proud to introduce the ERUA Digital Badge Service, part of the broader ERUA Digital Campus initiative, marking an important step toward a more connected and digitally enabled academic community.
Through this new service, participants in ERUA activities receive official digital badges that certify their participation in events such as Winter Schools, Travelling Seminars, workshops, and other alliance initiatives. These badges are secure, verifiable digital credentials stored in a personal digital wallet and designed to be easily shared across academic and professional platforms.
Unlike traditional certificates, ERUA digital badges are built for the digital age: they are always accessible, instantly shareable, and fully verifiable. With a single click, participants can showcase their ERUA experience on platforms such as LinkedIn or share it with universities, employers, and their wider network, turning participation into a visible and portable achievement.
This development is a key milestone for the ERUA Digital Campus, which aims to create a unified digital experience across partner universities. It is the beginning of a wider transformation toward seamless collaboration, improved recognition of learning experiences, and enhanced mobility within the ERUA network.
Building the ERUA Digital Ecosystem: The Importance of Issuing your ERUA-iD
This is only the beginning! The ERUA Digital Campus will continue to evolve with new tools and services that strengthen connectivity, support academic collaboration, and redefine how learning experiences are recognized and shared across the alliance.
In this context, the ERUA Digital ID (ERUA-iD) is becoming a central element of participation in ERUA activities. Students, academic staff, and administrative personnel are strongly encouraged to obtain their ERUA-iD, as it is gradually being introduced as a requirement for access to ERUA events and services. This ensures a smoother, more integrated experience across the alliance’s growing digital ecosystem and enables full participation in the ERUA Digital Campus.
