On 7 May 2026, the ERUA Annual Alumni Networking Fair brought together students, alumni and university representatives from across the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) during the UNIMC Career Week.
Organised within the framework of ERUA’s WP4 activities dedicated to community building and alumni engagement, the event aimed to strengthen connections among current students, graduates and partner universities, while promoting the growing ERUA Alumni Network.
The fair opened with an introduction to ERUA and its Alumni Community, followed by a presentation by Sebastian Pfeifer from the European University Viadrina (EUV), who highlighted the opportunities the network offers for international collaboration, mentoring and lifelong connections.
A key moment of the event was the series of alumni testimonials. Simone De Pace and Giorgia Pazzi, alumni of the University of Macerata (UNIMC), shared personal insights into their academic and professional journeys, while Samuel Taviro from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) offered an international perspective on the value of the ERUA experience.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A led by Darya Lazarenko from New Bulgarian University (NBU), encouraging participants to engage actively with the ERUA Alumni Community and remain connected through future initiatives and networking opportunities.
The Networking Fair once again highlighted ERUA’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and interconnected European university community that extends beyond graduation, creating spaces for dialogue, collaboration and exchange among alumni and students across the alliance.
