Join the Climate Conversation: Urban Green Spaces & Climate Resilience

Climate Awareness Month 2026 at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) is a local initiative led by the ERUA Student Community at MRU. Throughout the month, students are organising a series of events and discussions focused on sustainability and climate-related challenges.

As part of this initiative, MRU students are hosting an online lecture on urban green spaces and climate resilience and warmly invite participants from all ERUA universities to join the conversation.

About the speaker: Luis Pinto, PhD Researcher in sustainable urban green space management, specialising in data-driven frameworks, bottom-up governance, ecosystem services, and GIS-based solutions. Pinto’s lecture will explore how cities can strengthen climate resilience through smart, accessible, and nature-based approaches.
