Call for applications for two permanent technical positions – ERUA2 Project (ULPGC)

 The Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation and Cooperation at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) announces the opening of a selection process, through public competition, for the permanent recruitment of two full-time technicians, funded by the European Reform University Alliance 2 (ERUA2) project, financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme.

Positions available

  1. Project financial and administrative manager
  • Qualifications: Degree in Business Studies, Economics, Business Administration and Management or related subjects.
  • Languages: Spoken and written English, with a minimum accredited level of B1.
  • Key Qualities We’re Looking For:
    • Proven experience in financial and accounting management of international or European Union-funded projects.
    • Knowledge of office automation, databases and web management.
    • Advanced level of English or knowledge of French.
    • Complementary training in subjects related to administrative and financial management.
  • Core responsibilities:
    • Financial supervision and control of the project, preparation of financial reports, coordination with international partners and support in the administrative and accounting management of activities related to the ERUA2 project.
  1. Technical support manager for student mobility and participation
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting, Social Sciences, Business, Economics or related fields.
  • Languages: Spoken and written English, with a minimum accredited level of B2.
  • Key Qualities We’re Looking For:
    • Experience in student associations or in managing European higher education projects.
    • Experience in international mobility or Erasmus+ programmes.
    • Computer skills and proficiency in other languages.
    • Complementary training related to university management or internationalisation.
  • Core responsibilities:
    Coordination and monitoring of student mobility and activities within the project, support for participants, organisation of events and preparation of reports related to participation and mobility within the ERUA Alliance.

  • Application deadline: 10 calendar days from the day following publication in the Boletín Oficial de Canarias.
  • Expected start date of contract: December 2025.
  • Place of work: Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation and Cooperation, University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
