The University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria bids farewell to the 2024-25 academic year with the presentation of the video ‘Feliz verano ULPGC’ (Happy Summer ULPGC), which is part of the University’s efforts to strengthen pride and belonging to the ULPGC.
The video is based on the winning proposal in an ideas competition by two students: Josué Lucas Pérez Marrero, a student on the Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, and Elena Infante Betancor, a student on the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Automatic Electronic Engineering. Eleven other new proposals were submitted in the competition.
The production, execution and adaptation of the video was carried out by the Vice-Rectorate for Communication and University Promotion. Around 30 people from the university community (students, teaching staff and technical and administrative staff) took part in the filming, which took place at various locations on the Tafira and Humanities campuses, as well as on Alcaravaneras beach in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

This project is being disseminated through social media and internal email to the ULPGC university community.
This was its making-of.
