On the 20th and the 21st of May in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, an in person meeting of the Young Forum for Action on Climate Change will be held! The forum will be concluding a series of open hybrid discussions on topics related to Sustainability and Climate change. The meeting aims to bring together young researchers and students in a constructive dialogue on critical issues related to sustainability and climate change.

We are pleased to share with you the official poster and agenda of the meeting above!

We invite you all to participate in this forum, a bottom-up student initiative from all ERUA institutions. There are already more than 60 students visiting us from up to 8 countries!

No registration is required! Just come to this face-to-face event to be held at the Paraninfo (Calle Juan de Quesada, 30) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on 20 and 21 May!

Our aim is to profit from very diverse topics (renewable energies, circular economy, chemistry, marine sciences, AI, equality, education, environmental law, insectology…) to co-create a document with policies and measures to be introduced in our institutions. We are eager to hear your opinions!

In addition, there will be a film screening and interactive workshops on photography, cooking, handicrafts, all related to sustainability.

The whole event will be available in English and Spanish thanks to the coordination of translation and interpreting Master students.

Finally, certificates will be awarded to all participants, coffee and lunch breaks will be offered, as well as cultural activities.
