We are thrilled to announce the successful launch of the first ERUA Joint Online Social Entrepreneurship CourseCreating Solutions for European Challenges! The course officially kicked off on March 17th, 2025, after an exciting selection process that drew overwhelming interest from across the alliance. With over 220 applications received, a total of 80 students from all 8 ERUA universities were selected to begin this unique and inspiring journey.

This interdisciplinary course, developed collaboratively by academic experts across ERUA, is hosted under the ERUA Social Entrepreneurship Lab. Over the next 11 weeks, students will explore pressing social, environmental, and economic issues and learn how to tackle them through entrepreneurial innovation.

The course includes 9 modules, delivered by a team of experienced educators, combining live and self-paced learning activities. One of the highlights: a module offered in all 8 ERUA languages!

From learning about EU policies and funding opportunities to gaining hands-on experience in developing social business ideas, this course is designed to empower and equip students with the tools to drive real change. It’s not just a class—it’s a start for the next generation of social innovators, addressing key European and global challenges such as migration, sustainability, and human rights.

Congratulations to all selected participants! We look forward to seeing the creative and impactful solutions you will develop throughout the course.

Stay tuned for more insight into the course and our future endeavours into European education!
