ERUA is happy to announce our first Online Social Entrepreneurship Course. The online Social Entrepreneurship Course: Creating Solutions for European Challenges is a very unique programme developed collaboratively by all ERUA Universities.
This course, hosted under the ERUA Social Entrepreneurship Lab, will empower students to address pressing social, environmental, and economic challenges through entrepreneurial thinking and innovation. Participants will engage in interdisciplinary learning, explore real-world social challenges, and gain practical tools to create impactful solutions.
The course will include 9 modules, which will be taught by expert academic staff from the ERUA universities and will deliver a combination of synchronous and asynchronous activities. Modules will be delivered in English, with one module offering sessions in all 8 ERUA languages.
The course will provide participants with a knowledge of EU policies, funding opportunities, and frameworks for social entrepreneurship, while deliver the practical skills to identify and develop social business opportunities.
The program is ideal for individuals passionate about social entrepreneurship and eager to contribute to solving societal challenges in areas such as migration, climate change, human rights, and sustainability.
Duration:
The course will start on the 17th of March and will be for the duration of approximately 11 weeks: 34 hours (32 hours in English + 2 hours in your university local language). It will be held Online (via Moodle platform)
Upon completion:
- A certificate will be granted upon attending at least 75% of the sessions and positive evaluation of the Social Initiative/Business Plan.
- ECTS: depending on each University, a specific number of credits might be recognised.
Who can apply?
This course is open to students, but also academic and administrative staff enrolled Applicants must be enrolled at or affiliated with one of the ERUA universities.

The Required Level of English according to the Common European framework of Reference for Language (options to be shown: C2, C1, B2, B1, etc.)
