Kicking off a series of seminars and workshops on on topics related to sustainability and climate change!
We are pleased to invite you to the very first lecture within the framework of the ERUA’s “Youth Forum on Sustainability and Climate Change” – “Marine litter in the open ocean at different depth”. It will take place on the 21st of January, 2025 at 11:30 (CET) online and will be given by one of the ULPGC’s academic experts in marine sciences – Daura Vega Moreno. The lecture will be hosted by the ULPGC on the Canary Islands and via ZOOM. To attend the seminar please follow the link.
The lecture will kick-off the first phase of the project on establishing the “Youth Forum on Sustainability and Climate Change“. This first phase consists of a number of workshops/round tables/lectures on topics related to sustainability and climate change. These events will be taking place in hybrid mode, and within the campuses of one of the eight ERUA Universities.
The role of the students in this project is key for its development. As part of the students engagement after each of the initiatives we have dedicated time for discussions where we will be gathering students’ feedback on ways to improve the sustainability policies within the universities members of ERUA.
Certificates will be provided to all assistants!
Moreover, the attendance to these meetings might have an impact on the final decision of selecting the participants in the “Youth Forum on Sustainability and Climate Change” that will take place in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.
