The European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) is announcing the rotation of the ERUA Board of Rectors Chair. After a year of dedicated service, Professor Roman Cieślak, Rector of SWPS University, is stepping down as Chair, and Professor Dr. Inga Zaleniene, Rector of Mykolas Romeris University, is taking over this position.
Reflecting on his tenure, Professor Cieślak shared: “I would like to thank all members of ERUA for their cooperation over the passing year. It was a time of relationship building, strengthening mutual trust, launching new projects, and developing new organizational structures of the Alliance. Today, we know that together we have the will and the power to do a lot for our communities, countries, and Europe.”
Professor Dr. Inga Zaleniene, inspired to lead ERUA into the next year, expressed her dedication: “True leadership lies in listening, inspiring, and driving a shared vision forward—and I am honored to take on this responsibility with purpose and unwavering dedication.”
We extend our deepest gratitude to Professor Cieślak for his leadership and welcome Professor Dr. Zaleniene as the new Chair. Together, we look forward to continued growth, innovation, and collaboration across ERUA’s member universities in shaping the future of European higher education.
