Join the “Communicating in and about Sports” symposium on May 16-17, 2024, at Paris 8 University, in anticipation of the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. Some of the themes that the symposium will cover include:
• Sports communication
• Discourse analysis and genres
• Sport metaphors
• Sports in literature and popular culture
• Didactics aspects in teaching English for sports
• Sports history and collective memories
• Sport management
The conference is sponsored by ERUA (European Reform University Alliance), Université Paris 8 and the TransCrit Research Lab.
