The Learning Opportunity will take place at the University of the Aegean (Syros island) from the 1st to 9th July 2023. Hosted by the School of Engineering and the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering, this international conference and summer school will be co-organised by the Interactive Systems Design Lab (University of the Aegean) and CITU – PARAGRAPHE (University of Paris 8).
The XARTS 2023 International Conference proposes an overview of the History and Praxis of Computer Animation in a two-day symposium (1-2 July) preceding the Summer School. The XARTS 2023 Summer School (3-9 July) proposes intensive workshops on new media technologies for artistic projects. Participants can propose an idea or concept for such an integrative artistic project, which will be implemented as a working prototype during the Summer School .
Number of students: max. 6 per university
Fee: 100 euros for ERUA participants (includes daily lunch breaks and 3 dinners)
