Symposium: “Communicating in and about Sports”
Join the “Communicating in and about Sports” symposium on May 16-17, 2024, at Paris 8 University, in anticipation of the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. Some of the themes that the symposium will cover include:
- Sports communication
- Discourse analysis and genres
- Sport metaphors
- Sports in literature and popular culture
- Didactics aspects in teaching English for sports
- Sports history and collective memories
- Sport management
